Windows 7

Vasona will run in Window 7. We do not recommend it as we are still investigating issue relating to the operations... This section list the known workarounds. and problems ..

Issue	Solution
Files will not save correctly and Vasona just operates strangely ...	Run in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode.
Dongle will not be recognized	Download the most up to date driver. Check DLP designs webs site if required. We use the DLP-D-G. Note: only the most up to date USB dongles may be supported.
Strange format of tables...	Select 'Window Classic' for the display format. Right mouse button click on your desktop and click on 'personalize' ...
Communication to some ISO field probes is problematic.	We are working on a solution.
Some of the words are missing on the display (or trimmed)...	Vasona looks better with the Arial narrow font installed.
64bit version	When Vasona in installed in a 64bit version of Win7, it is install in the c:\program files (x86)\emisoft - vasona\.. directory. This means your existing templates will not work. The transducers/limits/objects have to be reloaded, then resaved. We are working on a simple solution.
